The Quinny Zapp Xtra is the big sister to the extremely successful Quinny Zapp stroller. The main issue with the original Zapp stroller was that it was only suitable from 6 months as it does not recline. Quinny have now designed the amazing Zapp Xtra, which has improved on the Zapp with some great features.

The Quinny Zapp Xtra is now suitable from birth to approximately 4 years.

Comfort

The seat unit on the Zapp Xtra features a 5-point safety harness, with shoulder pads and padded crotch area for comfort.

The seat can be rearward facing or forward facing, which is an amazing feature for a compact stroller. When the seat is in the rearward facing position (child facing away form you), the seat has 3 recline positions; fully upright, semi reclined and a complete lay-flat position perfect for napping. When the seat is in the forward facing position (your child facing you), the seat has 2 recline positions; semi-reclines and fully lay-flat.

The seat recline position is very easy to adjust with the handle located at the top of the seat. The seat also clicks on and off the chassis easily to change from forward facing to rearward facing.

Practicality

The Zapp Xtra features a generous sun canopy / hood which offers great shade coverage to your child. The hood is also removable if you wish.

A fitted raincover is included when you purchase the pushchair, it is easy to attach if you are caught in a sudden rain shower, and also moves with the seat if you need to adjust its position. Also included is a medium size shopping basket, which is big enough to fit a small pack of nappies and a bag of shopping.

The Zapp Xtra is not as small and lightweight as the original Zapp stroller, but its added features more than make up for it. Its still in the lightweight and compact category, weighing just 8.7kg (without wheels).

Folding and unfolding the Zapp Xtra is very easy, and once folded the pushchair is very compact and can be easily transported and can fit into the smallest of car boots.

However when folding the Zapp Xtra the seat unit must be removed first. This is an easy task and can be done with just one hand! Simply pull in the recline button, move the release lever and the seat comes easily away from the frame.

Manoeuvrability

The Zapp Xtra has a 3 wheel design, with one double wheel at the front. There is no chance of a puncture either, as the wheel are made from a moulded plastic. The front wheel can be locked into position for pushing over bumpy or uneven terrain, or can swivel 360 degrees for ultimate manoeuvrability on smooth surfaces.

The soft touch rubber handles and all round suspension on the Zapp Xtra make it really comfortable for parents to push and for children to enjoy the ride.

Travel System Compatible

The Zapp Xtra can also create the perfect travel system. Simply use with either the Maxi Cosi Pebble infant Car Seat or CabrioFix Car Seat. Both car seats can attach directly onto the chassis of the Zapp Xtra using the included adaptors.

There are also a range of matching footmuffs available to purchase separately, which are sure to keep your little one super snug on colder days.
