The Maxi Cosi Elea pushchair is suitable from birth to approximately 3 years. The Maxi Cosi Elea's ridgid outer shell protects your child while a well padded seat unit provides that extra bit of comfort.
The fully adjustable lie-flat seat unit can be used forward facing when the baby is very young, or rearward facing when they are a toddler. Its lie-flat position is perfect for newborns, and the Maxi Cosi baby nest makes Elea a comfortable choice.
Elea has two unique folding options, the quick folding for daily use and optimal folding for compact storage. Elea is the ideal way of getting out and about, wherever and whenever you want.
Elea comes with large rear wheels, front lockable swivel wheels, which are lockable from the side of the frame, and high performance suspension making Elea ultra manoueverable over many types of terrain. There is a large shopping basket, sun canopy, raincover, and integral parasol holder.
The three height adjustable handle bar makes Elea easy and comfortable to push, and is great for taller or shorter parents.
Elea is travel system ready, simply add the Maxi Cosi carrycot to form a cosy pram, or Maxi Cosi Pebble or Cabriofix infant car seats (sold separately).

From Ghazal Haqani, London The baby hasn't arrived yet so doesn't seem fair to comment yet as it is not used. I assembled it as soon as it reached me and found it pretty straightforward to put together. It feels quite sturdy, I liked the wheels and the push button mechanism for most of the adjustments on the pushchair. I was worried about the canopy as it is the 2011 version of the product and one of the usp of the 2012 version is the larger canopy, while the older has been criticised on several reviews as not big enough for the purpose. However, it is definitely the larger canopy version so quite relieved. The only downside so far is that the baby cocoon seems slightly faded and is not jet black as the seat unit, but it's a minor niggle which does not affect the product's plus points on the whole. The delivery was great, on time within the hour slot given, impressed. |  |

Being a first time parents we found the huge variety of prams, pushchairs and travel systems baffling and sometimes overwhelming. We opted for the Elea because it ticked a lot of boxes. It can be folded to a very compact size and its super quick and easy to open. Has the option to lie flat so no need to buy a separate carrycot. Comes with a heap of useful extras like a newborn nest, raincover and maxi cosi adaptors allowing us to use it as a travel system with the pebble. The best thing was the price as we saved £135 buying it on babythings4u.co.uk, which meant there was more cash to spend on other things! Having arrived its proving to be as versatile and straightforward as we thought, so now just waiting for baby! | |
