Delivery Times

Orders before 1pm are usually despatched the same day. If for any reason there is a problem with your order (eg: incorrect postcode) we will contact you via phone or email.

Orders are usually delivered to you within 1-2 working days.
For the very best experience, please ensure to add a mobile contact on the delivery information to receive your 1 hour delivery slot via text.

1 Hour Delivery Slot

If a mobile number is provided in the delivery information you will receive a Text Message on the day of your delivery.

This text message tells you a one hour window that your item will be delivered in. This means you don't have to wait in all day for your delivery.

If your unable to be in on this day you can reply via text to reschedule another delivery day.

Our aim is to provide you the best customer service possible, and providing the most up to date delivery methods available is part and parcel of this.

Delivery Regions

Furniture pieces / sets and larger orders

For orders of Furniture pieces and sets, or larger orders, they will be usually be sent on a pallet and will take a few days longer.
We will contact you via phone or confirm via email before the order is despatched so you can be ready to receive the delivery.

Specific Day Delivery

If you would like your order to arrive on a specific day (when your off work..etc) - please just telephone us on: 01691 682 194 (9:00am - 5:00pm) for this to be arranged.

What time will my order come?

Royal Mail orders come whenever you usually recieve your post.
DPD deliveries will be with you between Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (No bank holidays).
To receive a 1 hour delivery slot text, please ensure a mobile number is provided in the delivery information when placing your order.

What if I'm not in when you deliver?

All orders must be signed for.

If you miss your deliver Royal Mail / DPD will leave a card "We're holding an item of mail for you." at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver your order.

Your order will be held with Royal Mail / DPD for up to 2 weeks.
If you fail to collect your parcel from DPD, the item will be returned to sender (Babythings4u.co.uk) and we will incur a charge (£15.00 per box / £25.00 per box to Highlands / Northern Ireland), which we will pass onto you.

If Royal Mail / DPD are unable to deliver to your address

If you have input an incorrect delivery address, missed off the house number, put in an incorrect postcode or your work place refuses delivery of the goods, the order will be returned to sender (Babythings4u.co.uk).

We will then contact you to make payment for re-delivery at our standard rate (£15.00 per box / £25.00 per box to Highlands / Northern Ireland) or refund you minus our standard rate delivery costs.
